Mk6 Stanchion

Mk6The Mk6 Stanchion has been designed to suspend either single (SEN) or multiple-element nets (MEN or HP) to engage modern high-speed jet fighter aircraft. It can be installed permanently on a concrete foundation, or temporarily using ground anchors for expeditionary applications.

An electric gear motor is used to raise and lower each stanchion. This motor is equipped with an automatic magnetic disc brake that is actuated as the motor stops, locking the motor in the appropriate position. The motor is primary winding, which serves as a heating element, ensuring complete reliability even under the most severe climactic conditions.
